Planning + Patient Positioning + 360 Treatment Delivery = A Greater Potential For Cure

The TomoTherapy process makes it easier on everyone involved. Before the doctor begins, he uses 3-D images from a combination of scanning technologies (such as CT and MRI) and special software to establish the tumor volume and location and the exact intensity of the radiation needed.

As both a scanner and a treatment delivery machine, the TomoTherapy HI-ART system allows doctors to take a CT scan just before each treatment to make sure the radiation is directed right where it should be.

From there, its revolutionary 360-degree treatment system delivers tens of thousands of zeroed-in beamlets that run rings around cancer. Bottom line, TomoTherapy is light years beyond any other treatment out there and gives you the best chance to live life on your own terms.
